Garreth is a well-known Scottish Entrepreneur & Philanthropist, living in Scotland with his wife Nicola, and their 2 young daughters.
Garreth’s interest in philanthropy started at a young age and he has been involved with a number of UK charities, including The Princes Trust and the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) in Scotland, The ARCHIE Foundation, VSA Aberdeen, When You Wish Upon A Star, and is a trustee for The Wood Foundation.
In early 2018 Garreth made the decision to sell his Scottish restaurant business, The Speratus Group, to fully focus on philanthropic activities. Garreth, together with his wife Nicola founded Kids Operating Room in January 2018, with the vision of ‘A world where every child has equal access to safe surgery’.
Garreth lives by the philosophy that ‘life is about finding the right balance between what you do for yourself and what you can do for others’.
In his spare time Garreth enjoys spending time with his family, is a car enthusiast and collector, enjoys skiing and golf, and has one of the rarest Lego collections in the world.
