Butterfly - The butterfly is an insect that, through its transformation from caterpillar to butterfly, experiences the chance to fly, and develops the resilience to emerge stronger from any adversity. Many times, we have to make changes day by day for the moments we live for.
Biography
KidsOR has given me the opportunity to develop myself as a data collector. This activity allows me to interact with people, many of them are parents of patients who have undergone successful surgery who are very grateful.
The information that I collect helps to maintain the statistical information that KidsOR and the hospital require. For me it is a new experience, I feel very excited to be a member of a team of people who are performing a great gesture to help others.
At the hospital, I also work as an encoder and digitizer within the Health Information Services team. The results of our work are taken as a source of information for both hospital statistics and the Ministry of Health.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling to experience the diverse cultures that Peru has to offer, as well as some border countries like Chile and Argentina.
