Cheetah – “The Cheetah is a symbol of adaptability, patience, opportunity, and fast action which teaches us life is too short and we should grab every day and opportunity. The Cheetah is also my daughter’s favourite animal, and she can be seen sporting a cheetah pattern regularly.”
Biography
As Shipping Coordinator at Kids OR, John coordinates the movement of equipment to ensure they arrive with their partner hospitals safely by preparing shipping and customs documentation as well as assisting in the management of stock inventory levels.
“I strongly identify with the Kids OR ethos and what it stands for and believe everyone should be given a fair shot in life regardless of who or where they are, especially children. I am proud to be part of such an amazing selfless organisation.”
Previous to KidsOR, for the past 10 years John has worked with a watch and accessories manufacturer in Dundee covering several roles from Sales Account Management, Product Sourcing and Development, Import and Export as well as Stock Management.
Outside of work John mostly enjoys spending time with his family and is a keen cyclist that takes part in a couple of events a year. John also enjoys writing music and playing guitar in a wedding and function band called Paper Tiger.
