Our latest paediatric operating room is open in Zimbabwe!

We're delighted to announce the opening of our newest children's surgical theatre, in partnership with Smile Train, at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals in Harare, Zimbabwe.

This operating room is fully equipped with the best resources possible for children's surgery, over 3,000 separate items, and will help the local surgical team provide a world-class level of care to the children they treat.

Improving Paediatric Surgical Care in Harare

Children in Zimbabwe are facing a significant healthcare crisis. The southern African nation has alarmingly high child mortality rates. 3.5% of children do not survive birth and 5% of children do not live past the age of five. The 7 million children living in Zimbabwe deserve better, and our latest initiative aims to provide just that.
