Two new operating rooms in Nigeria!

We've Just Installed Two Life-Changing Paediatric Operating Rooms in Nigeria.

We are thrilled to announce the installation of two new paediatric operating rooms in Nigeria, marking a significant step towards transforming child healthcare in the region.

According to World Bank data, Nigeria has the second highest under-5 mortality rate in the world, with a shocking 107 deaths per 1,000 live births. This alarming statistic means that over 10% of children in Nigeria do not live to see their 5th birthday.

We find this unacceptable.

These newly installed facilities, which are fully equipped with dedicated surgical equipment for children, will cover the western and southern regions of Nigeria. They are poised to make a substantial difference by making surgeries safer and more readily available.

Impact on Child Healthcare

The introduction of these operating rooms will:

• Improve Surgical Outcomes: By providing state-of-the-art equipment and a specialised environment, the chances of successful surgeries are greatly enhanced.
• Reduce Waiting Times: With more operating rooms available, the backlog of surgeries can be addressed more efficiently, ensuring timely medical interventions for children in need.
• Support Healthcare Providers: These facilities will offer much-needed support to healthcare professionals, enabling them to deliver better care with the right tools at their disposal.
