Unveiling our newest life-changing children's theatre...

Fantastic news - we've just installed a brand new state of the art paediatric operating room, in Hospital Central do Lubango in Angola.

This amazing new space is our newest project with partners Smile Train and marks our first piece of work in the country. The hospital serves hundreds of thousands of people, making the increase in capacity brought by this work a truly life-changing moment in the city of Lubango.

Angola is a country that faces incredible challenges with child health and survival - with alarmingly high rates in both live birth and under-5 mortality.

This means that our space here, which includes over 3,000 pieces of dedicated paediatric surgical equipment, will save the lives of thousands of children for years to come.
