Charitable work runs in the family; Sarah is the daughter of Strive and Tsitsi Masiyiwa, two of Africa’s most prolific philanthropists. Together they founded the Higherlife Foundation which has supported the education of 250,000 vulnerable and highly talented students in Africa.
Miss Masiyiwa experienced the work of Kids Operating Room first-hand when she visited the three new operating rooms installed in the Mulago National Referral Hospital in Kampala, Uganda in December 2019.

Sarah Masiyiwa is KidsOR’s newest member of the Board.
