Panther - "I chose the panther because it is a beautiful animal native to the continent where I direct most of my time at KidsOR. It’s also special because it can be found in Africa and Asia, the two other continents where we currently focus our work."

Biography

Nicola graduated with a BA Honours in Business Studies before going on to have a successful career as a model and television presenter.

Prior to founding KidsOR with her husband Garreth, Nicola ran many successful fundraising campaigns for charities close to her heart.

She is incredibly proud of what KidsOR has achieved in such a short period of time and is determined to increase access to safe surgery for some of the world’s poorest children.

“My eldest child, who required surgical intervention to save her life, would likely not have been here today had she been born in a Low Middle Income Country. Every child should have access to safe surgery when they need it. It is a basic human right."

Nicola has travelled extensively supporting the work of KidsOR, with her focus being in Latin America.
