Biography

As the Education & Training Officer for Africa, Samuel oversees and manages our Education (Paediatric Surgery Scholarships) and Training (Pan-African Paediatric Surgery E-learning) programs in Africa. He works alongside the Africa Director and the African team to ensure that the operational, administrative and technical aspects of the programs are managed effectively & efficiently.

Samuel has a background in Social Sciences (Economics) & Management (Marketing & Communication) with Bachelor’s & Master’s degrees from SciencesPo Paris. Having worked in various fields such as Education, Digital tech & Fintech, Samuel’s background in Social Sciences & long-term interests in societal development has propelled him to grow his career in International Development (intersection between health, education & sports).

When not at work, Samuel is a man of many talents who engages in sports (football & athletics), music (drummer & percussionist), dance, travels & adventures, as well as community projects. He also values spending time with family and friends
