Dr. Doruk Ozgediz

Biography

Doruk Ozgediz is a paediatric surgeon at Yale University and a co-founder advisory board member of the group Global Partners in Anesthesia and Surgery (GPAS), who assisted with capacity building in anaesthesia and surgery in Uganda for over 10 years.

Dr Ozgediz is also treasurer of the Global Initiative for Children’s Surgery (GICS) and has worked closely with international partners and the local paediatric surgery and anaesthesia teams in Uganda on training, infrastructure development, research, and advocacy.
